Thank you for being a valued customer of ByteMe Networks, LLC. I’m sorry this holiday gift arrived later than intended—and I wanted to share both the thought behind it and the reason for the delay.
If you’ve received a thank-you gift from me in the past, you may know that I typically assemble them personally and plan them a few months in advance, including the year’s theme and thresholds. As ByteMe’s inaugural year, I wanted to avoid repeating previous gifts while still giving you something that felt distinctly “ByteMe.”
One evening—while enjoying my favorite whiskey—the idea clicked: something for Friday night and Monday morning. A small box with a bottle of whiskey, a mug to enjoy it in, and coffee for the next day. That concept is what ultimately became the gift you’re holding.

You’ll notice the engraving isn’t perfect—and that’s on me. I chose to etch these bottles myself using glass etching paste, and it didn’t produce the clean, professional finish I was aiming for. Consider it a reminder that even in IT, “DIY” has a learning curve. (If you have a laser—or know someone who does—I’m all ears.) -
